The Edumatch Story

Edumatch, Inc., based in Massachusetts, is privately held and minority owned. We are completely independent and not affiliated with any publisher of educational materials.

Our mission is to help school systems realize the promise of educational technology to benefit their students. Our products and services ensure that educational software will be selected and acquired equitably and wisely, in line with state curriculum standards, and will be adopted with ease by teachers.

We strongly believe that the needs of educators are as varied as the students they teach, and that no one publisher alone can address these needs. We also believe that, while a reseller can inform and guide you towards the ‘perfect software’, there is no better judge of what constitutes such a solution than you!

We developed Edumatch SCORESM, Edumatch ProSM and Edumatch SuperSearchSM  to give you powerful tools to meet those needs.

  • Edumatch SCORE is a sophisticated baseline analysis of your existing software inventories, regardless of how or when you acquired them. With the help of Edumatch SCORE, you will document how the software you already own complies with your state’s curriculum standards, make more effective use of these existing resources, and learn what’s missing and how to fill the gaps.
  • Edumatch Pro is an easy-to-use, web-based application for the selection and purchase of curriculum software, matched to the needs you ‘describe’. Its flexible, patent pending search engine helps you find software from over 150 publishers matched to your state’s curriculum standards, your particular classroom needs and your personal teaching preferences. Edumatch Pro offers unbiased ratings of how well a software title addresses curriculum standards to help you identify ’good’ matches to the curriculum you want to address, and a series of reports can guide you towards using the software you purchased where it’s most needed. To ensure that you will also get a good deal, an ingenious, automatic re-pricing routine can analyze the aggregate total demand for all titles, from all requisitions, from all participating sites, to lead you to the most cost-effective versions available! There is no electronic purchasing possible on Edumatch Pro, so teachers can’t accidentally ‘pull the trigger’ on electronic PO's.
  • Edumatch SuperSearch is for districts that prefer to purchase from other vendors. It gives you the same state standards matching as Edumatch Pro, includes thousands of software titles from over 150 publishers matched to your state’s curriculum standards, and can match educators’ preferences and student needs, learning environments and computer configurations. It offers the same unbiased ratings of how well each software title addresses your curriculum standards. Edumatch SuperSearch makes it easy for teachers and administrators to collaborate and leads you to cost-effective versions of selected titles available so you can have any vendor you wish quote on your choices.

Edumatch services have met with overwhelming enthusiasm from state, district and school officials. Edumatch is a groundbreaking, vastly superior approach to buying educational software. We expect Edumatch SCORE, Edumatch Pro and Edumatch SuperSearch to revolutionize the way schools purchase curriculum materials by putting the power of informed choice back into the hands of educators.
